Business Development Manager Power & Garden Tools
A successful candidate will have relevant product and market knowledge plus a solid network of business contacts. This position may be home based. It will also require frequent travel to customers as well as to BMZ facilities of which Gliwice, Poland will be the most frequently visited.
In this role you will be
- analyzing the market, creating and validating product concepts, performing market coverage analysis
- preparing profitability analysis, budgets and capex investment plans
- acting as a liaison between Sales & Marketing, Technical, Research & Development and Operations departments within own organization as well as on customers’ side
- consolidating data from various sources into form allowing strategic decision making
- promoting and marketing BMZ Power and / or Garden Tools solutions
- conducing customer technical trainings
- new and existing products, new and existing customers - finding the right match
- leading commercial negotiations
- ensuring that project execution follows agreed plan in the first place and managing deviations if such occur
Ideal candidate
- has broad practical experience in Power and / or Garden Tools business
- has well established network of connections with Power and / or Garden Tools market participants
- has proven experience of leading cross-functional teams, without having direct reports
- is goal oriented and has proven track record of delivering results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- is a self-starter and entrepreneurial
- has experience in OEM project sales
- is tech-savvy
- holds a technical Master Degree
- is proficient in English
- is ready to take challenges outside of the written job description
- knows something about cells, as experience in lithium-ion technology will be additionally valued
